InFusion Active Ingredients:

Marine Soluble Collagen: Soluble Collagen is collagen that has been processed to enable transdermal delivery. Marine collagen derived from salmon and marine source, naturally contains DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol). DMAE, made popular by Dr. Nicolas Perricone, is a naturally occurring substance that facilitates the synthesis of a neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which help to maintain skins firmness and facial tone. DMAE also stimulates the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, an important component of cell membranes. It’s soluble state, being fractionated for transdermal delivery, naturally encapsulates for skin absorption.

Hyaluronic Acid: Is currently popular as the ingredient found in the cosmetic injection, Restylane. It naturally occurs in the body, but diminishes as we age or as our bodies become less hydrated. Hyaluronic Acid is the “glue” that binds collagen and elastin in place. It contains amino-polysaccharides called glycosaminoglycans (GAG's), which help increase elasticity and mobility between cells and help the skin repair, renew, and revitalize itself.

Glycolic Acid (5%): Natural fruit acids derived from sugar cane work to exfoliate surface layers of skin, which can help the skin better absorb creams and serums, as well as diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Giovani New York formulated 5% glycolic acid to work gently in combination with Giovani New York MicroDermabrasion Exfoliation Cream. This formulation is suitable for sensitive skin types and will not burn nor irritate.

White Tea Extracts: First there was green tea, known for being 200 times more potent than Vitamin E in its ability to destroy free radicals that can cause imperfections and premature aging of the skin. But research points to WHITE TEA -- as being three times more effective an antioxidant than green tea. Independent scientists at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland have recently found that when a white-tea serum was applied to the skin before sun exposure, the polyphenols in the tea helped protect vital cells from damage during UV over-exposure. Without these, the skin is more prone to premature aging.

Retinol: Retinol is the most effective form of vitamin A without a prescription. Retinol has demonstrated to give similar benefits to retin-A but without the irritation (and at a slower pace). Retinol increases cellular turnover which evens out tone and texture and helps skin to function better. Retinol is better than other forms of vitamin A as the molecular structure is smaller.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E): has been shown to have a wide variety of skin benefits. Many studies have shown that vitamin E can help decrease the effects of psoriasis, erythema, and may help in reducing the risk of skin cancer. Vitamin E has also been shown to significantly help in the reduction of scaring from wounds and has been shown to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks on the skin.

Allantoin: is a valuable cell-proliferating healing agent which stimulates healthy tissue formation. Allantoin has a pronounced keratolytic and skin softening action, acts as chemical debrider of scaling tissue.

Aloe Barbadensis: Aloe's ‘healing’ comes from Growth Factors, Amino Acids, Glycoproteins, Gibberellin, aAuxin and minerals such as Zinc, as well as Polysaccharides. These biologically active agents synergize to give us the power of Aloe Vera. Epidermal and Fibroblast growth factors stimulate the Fibroblast directly for growth and repair. The cells as a result migrate within the wound in a proper manner to increase wound healing.

Arnica Montana: An extract used in homeopathy to aid in wound & bruise healing.

Ginkgo Biloba: Ginkgo has two groups of active substances, flavonoids and terpene lactones, including ginkgolides A, B, and C, bilobalide, quercetin, and kaempferol. The ginkgolides have been used in homeopathy to aid in reducing inflammation.

Ginseng: Ginseng is the dried root of one of several species of the Araliaceae family of herbs. One of it’s many uses is to aid in stimulating immune functions.
Bioflavonoids (Vitamin P): Bioflavonoids may be active in preserving the structures of capillaries, have an antibacterial effect and promote circulation. They have been shown to aid the effectiveness of other vitamins when used in combination.

Panthenol (Vitamin B5): Imparts long-lasting hydration, incites new cell growth, protects the epidermal layer.

Ergocaliciferol (Vitamin D): Protects the epidermal layer. This form has not yet been able to absorb beyond the epidermal layer, however will enhance the extensive internal benefits when combined with responsible UV ray exposure.

Rosemary Essential Oil: Has been used in homeopathy to support the circulatory, nervous and muscular systems, and it has been used for centuries to promote vibrant skin.

Green Tea Extract: The medical College of Georgia Department of Biology, has uncovered a wealth of information about green tea. Most importantly, he helped determine that compounds in green tea called polyphenols help eliminate free radicals, which can cause cancer and premature aging by altering DNA. They recently began studying the most abundant green tea polyphenol, called EGCG. This polyphenol seems to be a fountain of youth for skin cells. “When exposed to EGCG, the old cells found in the upper layers of the epidermis appear to start dividing again,” “They make DNA and produce more energy. They are reactivated. * * Medical College of Georgia.
